So back in 1.8.1 I believe Notch added smooth lighting and a brightness setting. It goes from super-cool looking Moody to really bright.

My question is, how do you prefer the brightness? I personally prefer it moody, it looks so cool like that, while others I know always have it set to be as bright as possible.

I'm constantly using moody because it adds suspense during night scenes Big Grin

Cool Big Grin Yeah it's really awesome to fall into a large cavern and not be able to see anything but glowing red eyes.

IKR especially like the next 5 seconds frantically trying to put torches all over the place.. Then realising you don't have any and have to craft them on the spot XD

As bright as possible (maybe even fullbright?) I hate not being able to see.

Of course you would use fullbright Tongue I only use it sometimes (when I'm cheating for ores and stuff).

I keep it at fullbright, I like to see monsters falling into the chunks I blew up and mined out.
