I began my hunt for Iron ore after my creeper fight by digging into a stone wall nearby my "home". i dug a 3x3 hole to start it and made a staircase going 2 ways down and 1 way up I continued going up until I hit light and went back down into the down part of my staircase and begun digging in. being careful not to disturb any mobs that were hanging around. which was a terrible attempt anyway since I dug into a cave that had 2 skelies, another creeper, at least 4 zombies and 3 spiders, all split into 3 separate groups.

I hid behind what was left of my dig down and scanned the area for any spawners. None were in my view so I got in the spiders' view and took them out first, gaining just enough string to make a bow. Even though I had a bow, I had no arrows, much less flint/feathers to make some. (irl) I sighed and thought long and hard of the consequences that would come from sword fighting a skeleton. I guessed it'd be best to do it anyway and try to get some more arrows. After the little war against the mobs, I torched the crap out of the place and cobbled the other entrances so no others would find their dead friends.

I checked the room for any Iron and actually found some on the floor and ceiling! I instantly set up base here and started smacking away at the hard concretion that'll be my strongest sword. I finished mining after I found and collected some coal that was behind the ceiling iron. I decided to start back up and get some more wood before nightfall which was stupid since it was already late afternoon. Instead, I placed some of my saplings and went back "home" hoping no mobs will trap themselves in the hatch door.

It was! Except for the fact that I had 3 hearts after the fight and a pretty bad bruise on my nose.

Yes I like how helpful the hunger bar is when it's full. Saved me many a time.

ik, i try, but I ALWAYS DIE. I think staying out of mobs' sight or fencing in my front yard should work for not dying. I normally play on easy, I'm such a NOOB!!!Angry
