What's your favorite biome?
I like the woods the best, usually near mountains. My house just looks so nice in the woods.

I really hate building in snow, swamp, and desert biomes.

What about you?

My favourite biome is the Swamp . This is because there are still trees (easy access to wood), and there are 2 sources of food: Mushroom Stew and Wheat (excluding animals).

There are normally nice big water ponds around, which is nice for growing wheat as well as for collecting obsidian at a later stage of the game. I also like the different grass colour, it really makes it look real murky and awful, which can be nice sometimes.

I hate spawning in flatland, desert and any other deserted biomes, because there are not many supplies around.

Didn't like the swamp because of how disgusting it is

The jungle is quite nice though, but it takes a lot of work to clear everything and chop down the big trees, unless you have the timber mod installed.

The desert is definitely my favorite biome. Since it is usually flat it is always easy to build on without having to clear a bunch of land. Sandstone is also my favorite thing to build with so even if I need to clear land I will be getting sand to create into sandstone!

I certainly like the plains biome. that's where I most easily build.
Plus I normally find a forest around so it's kinda a win win

I sometimes wander for days before I find a forest around a plains biome, it's awful I have to live in a dirt hut and squat like an indian.

Aww, poor lucas, I'll try to find a seed where there's a plains biome with a forest biome next to it.

I love the biomes that are all combined since I don't really have a favorite. The jungle is the nicest biome to be close to. But probably the hardest to live in. Currently I have a house that is near woods and a desert while my house is in the plains. The plains are probably the nicest to live in because it is flat ground and at night it is very convenient to hunt mobs.

The jungle is a bit hard to live in because of all the clearing you have to do to get some land for your house. Then the cats make noise at night o_o

I actually really like the jungle. I'd a have to say it's my favorite biome. It has a versatile environment with many different places to create houses and explore. Also, the ocelots are an added bonus since I love cats.
